Contributions, Papers, Workshops and Discussions:
‘This is Forever’ supports the numerous approaches and creative ways that can be explored to critically engage these questions and initiate further dialog around them. Contributions in the form of presentation of papers, workshops are encouraged as well as discussions, films, and multimedia events.
Additionally, the curators invite presentations from two complimentary sets of perspectives: first from individuals and collectives which are steeped in autonomist thought, and use autonomist thought as a way of engaging political questions; and second from individuals and collectives who are participating and/or organizing practical projects which relate to the themes of the series and are interested in engaging in dialog with autonomist thought.
Proposals: Individual discussants and collectives, who in the spirit of these discussions, would like to participate are asked to send proposals to the curators (see contact page) for consideration. Proposals should not exceed one page, include a summary of the presentation, any relevant website links, and a short two to three sentence biography.
Deadline: While the series will be ongoing, the deadline for the next round of presentations – Summer and Fall 2006 – is June 15th 2009. A second call for proposals will be circulated once the presentations from the first call are exhausted.
Schedule: Sessions in the series will be irregularly held, in response to the changing schedules of the speakers and of our hosts.
